Assoc. Prof. Nihat Adar is an accomplished academician with extensive experience in the field of Computer Engineering. He completed his Doctorate at Lehigh University’s Graduate School of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science in the USA in 1994. Prior to this, he pursued postgraduate studies at Anadolu University’s Institute of Science in Turkey. Assoc. Prof. Adar has contributed significantly to various research areas, including Signal Processing, Algorithms, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Computer Vision, Database and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, and more. His expertise extends to Software Engineering, Pattern Recognition, and Soft Computing. With a career spanning nearly three decades, Assoc. She has an integrated Diploma in Business Information Technology from the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana. Sokol Abazi graduated as Industrial Chemist in Albania, Tirana University in 1989. In 1997 he obtained his PhD from Fribourg University (Switzerland) in organic synthesis using radical chemistry. After a Postdoc in Total Synthesis of Natural Products at Oxford University in 1998, he worked for a couple of companies in the UK and Switzerland and then returned to Albania working as a Professor at Tirana University. Since 2015 he is a Full Professor at CIT, from 2020 he holds the Rector position. His research interests are mainly focused on natural products, organic synthesis, and supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). In the last decade, he has been working on the use of a modified “soxhlet-like” extraction technique using sub-critical CO2. Anxhela Baraj, Computer Engineer specialized in Network and Cyber-Security. Received her bachelors degree in Business Informatics from the University of Tirana, and her Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from the Canadian Institute of Technology where she is currently working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering. Her research interests cover several aspects across computer science and information technology, with a special focus on network security.
